Description
This is a late 1952 Esquire that is coming out of my private collection. The condition is 9/10 -- ALMOST A MUSUEM PIECE. The guitar was purchased from a collector several years ago and is 100% original with no and I mean NO issues -- every screw, every solder joint, it's all there. All electronics work perfectly. The frets have plenty of life left in them and the neck is nice and chunky and arrow straight. Exactly what you'd expect and desire from a '52 Esquire. It's also light weight, around 6.5 pounds. As you know, esquires are all about the bridge pickup because that's all they come with. Over a decade ago I played an esquire that knocked my socks off and didn't buy it at the time. Years later, I started searching one that was similar and could not find one that sounded like I knew they could. Until I came across this animal. The pickup will blow your mind and I would put this guitar up against any blackguard Tele, Esquire, nocaster, broadcaster -- whatever. It kills me to sell this gem. The case is in amazing condition and holds the guitar snug. If you're looking for that perfect Esquire that's a collectors dream and also a one in a thousand player, look no further. Local pickup is preferred. I reserve the right to end auction early. Bank wire only.
