This is #15 from the original run of John "Crash" Matos Strats built in 2005. This guitar is all original and in excellent case-kept condition. What makes this guitar special is it is the exact guitar Fender used to promote the Crash run, and it has also been featured in a number of Fender publications including the 2008 Wall and Desk Calendars. It is the featured guitar from the desk calendar for this coming week of October 2008. The guitar ships in the original case and comes with a number of extras including the certificate, original accessories, copies of the wall and desk calendars that feature this guitar, and a page from the desk calendar signed by Crash himself. The provenance with this guitar is overwhelming, and surely the most collectible of Crash Strats. Overall the guitar is in excellent condition. It is not a player guitar and has been kept as a collectible. The case does show some wear on it from being stored but has protected the guitar wonderfully. It ships with the original box.
