Description Aslin Dane Archtop Jazz Guitar Yes, this is a very cool, gigable (is that a word?) guitar! It's a laminate, fully hollow, one humbucker jazz machine! The body thickness is just over 2 and a half inches wide (VERY comfortable). It has a rosewood fretboard and pickguard. It is a one trick pony ... it sounds like jazz. If you want that trick at an afordable price, then this is the guitar for you. I'm not kidding when I say this guitar is dead mint! I had it set up and adjusted after I bought it and never played it. Why? My main guitar is a Custom Shop Fender D'Aquisto Archtop. It sold for $2,500.00. I bought the Aslin Dane thinking I would use it on gigs outside or hauling a guitar in bad weather. Short answer: I never got use to the feel of the Aslin Dane. It's not bad ... It's just different! It comes with a cheap, barely lined, gig bag. This is an excellent student Jazz guitar. It was made in China. I have owned an Epiphone Joe Pass and a Fender Squire D'Armond X-155 in the past and I like this guitar better than either of them. And by the way ... YES, the guitar IS as pretty and elegant as the pictures show!!!!!! I will ship this guitar as cheap as I can but it will be well packed.
