The piano absolutely "sings", in the words of the Piano Technician who maintains and tunes it regularly.  The piano also holds a tune extremely well. Solid and tight all around. This 5' 7" Steinway M Grand Piano is in great condition all-around. Original soundboard; original mahogany finish; and original ivory keys - - - all in excellent condition.   Kept in great conditon with a partial rebuild in 1990, the Steinway was restrung; and a new pinblock, Renner shanks, and Steinway hammers were installed.   This 1925 Steinway M 5' 7" Grand Piano was in a Harvard professor and physician's family for over 30 years. My brother and I inherited from our parents in 2004. The Steinway is regularly played (by my brother, a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music/Boston); and reguarly serviced and tuned by a professional piano technician.  The sound is superior, among the best that Steinway has built; and this premier Steinway 'really holds a tune', to quote the two Piano Technicians who have serviced and tuned the piano over the past 40 years.  The look is the original mahogany finish: pure Steinway elegance and grace, and surely a wonderful addition, of sight and sound, to any home.
