Description
SCANDALLI SUPER IV Dear Accordion Friends, I have devoted a significant part of my life to my accordion passion. I've played many different accordions for more than 30 years. I have restored hundreds of accordions. Yet, once in a while I still see some models I have not been aware of. For example, many of you have heard or (even better) played a Scandalli Super VI. This instrument remains in the hole of fame of the accordion industry. However, I didn't know there was a Super IV model which features 3/4 sets of the same excellent reeds and double tone chamber. The accordion is perfect for jazz, concert music, and lots of ethnic styles. This must be an extremely rare Scandalli model since this is the very first one I have seen (let alone played or owned). The relation between the Scandalli Super IV and Super VI is similar to the link between the Dallape Supermaestro and Organtone II. Other well respected manufacturers had similar models - Bell, Sonola, Sano, Giulietti - but they all were relatively difficult to find. I am pleased to offer you a very fine and truly rare accordion, played with love and respect and now ready for a new home. The famous Scandalli Super VI doesn't need a long description. Think of that legendary Super VI less the second set of clarinet reeds. Below is a brief description. Excellent Reeds 3 sets of treble reeds - LMH - powerful and charming tone Concert tuning Double Tone Chamber (Cassotto) - Bassoon (L) and Clarinet (M) - The tone chamber is oversized and specially designed to produce equally mellow sound from all reeds. 4 sets of bass reeds 41 keys, 19.25 " keyboard - absolutely silent action with a very soft touch, a delight to play 9 treble switches (two repeats) - Piccolo (H), Bassoon (L), Bandoneon (LM), Organ (LH), Master (LMH), Oboe (MH), Clarinet (M), Piccolo (H), and Bassoon (L) 120 bass - 3 bass registers New padded shoulder straps with back-strap Deep-fold bellows - huge volume - clean - excellent compression Very good hard-shell case with internal padding Impressive instrument. If you have questions about this instrument or if you like to talk about accordions, feel free to email me at glazarov@AccordionGallery.com or call me at 973-770-6877. In case you would like to have your accordion serviced or to consider buying an accordion I believe I can help you. I love accordions. I've played the accordion for more than 30 years now - professionally, for friends, and for my own pleasure. I've tried almost every brand there is and I still can't have enough of this experience: http://www.AccordionGallery.comThank you for reading and good luck! Accordion Gallery
