It is serial number 243 and it was completed in November of 1992. It is in excellent condition. It features a Fern peghead inlay and tone bar construction. It is double bound and has a flat fingerboard. It has a beautiful 1 piece Maple back. It features double binding on the sides. It also features a 3 piece neck construction which is not often seen. It retains all of it's original hardware. This is a great sounding mandolin!! This mandolin was owned and used by David Grisman on his recording with Denny Zeitlin- New River. As a matter of fact, this mandolin is actually pictured on the cover of the CD. It is Acoustic Disc-45. This mandolin has aged very nicely and has a very bell like tone quality. It certainly is one that I will hate to see leave when it eventually does. PAYMENT IS EXPECTED WITHIN 7 DAYS.
